


About the project
CIRCULAT is a project developed through the collaboration of European and Latin American higher education institutions. Nine organizations from Spain, Romania, Costa Rica and Chile are collaborating, taking an interdisciplinary approach, with a focus on the circular economy and digitalization in Latin America.
The methodology combines applied training and digital tools to contribute to the adoption of circular and sustainable business models in SMEs, cooperatives and other key sectors.

Promote the integration of the circular economy and digitalization in higher education, preparing teachers, students and business leaders to face the challenges of sustainability.

Strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Chile and Costa Rica to support SMEs and cooperatives in their transition to circular economy models through digitalization and the adoption of innovative technologies.

Enhance cooperation between universities, SMEs, cooperatives, other associative business structures and other strategic actors, while CIRCULAT positions itself as a benchmark in circular economy and digitalization.
Objectives
Main expected results
Design and implementation of six new training programs in circular economy and digitalization, with modular certifications and recognized microcredentials.

Training in circular economy and digitalization strategies for 50 teachers and 100 business leaders (at least 50% female participation).

Implementation of 25 pilot projects with the digital tool applied to circularity and incubation of 40 circular business ideas in sectors such as agribusiness, tourism and manufacturing.

Support to more than 50 SMEs, cooperatives and other associative business structures in the adoption of circularity and sustainability strategies for their business model.
